Further information
Driving a Segway can be learned quickly. A comprehensive briefing by the experienced tour guide and the subsequent driving practice on the training parcour ensure the safe handling of the Segway. The tour only begins when all participants feel confident and safe.
The drive through the woods begins at the meeting place at the Schluchsee, Germany's highest-lying artificial lake. After a short ascent the tour leads down into the Balzhausen valley, which accomodates a traditional Black Forest village. During the tour a great number of souvenir photos will be shot for the participants.
After visiting the Black Forest Village the tour leads up again all the way to the Dürrenbühl Chapel and past the springs for the local cultural beer "Tannenzäpfle." Along the way the tour will take a break at the inn or the beer garden of the Rothaus brewery.
Subsequently the popular house of Prof. Dr. Brinkmann from the famous TV-show "Die Schwarzwaldklinik" can be visited. Finally the group drives over a more challenging offroad course to the 1,050 m high Faulenfürst, before heading back to the starting point from there.
